Time To Carry Around a Crucifix.

This is possibly one of the best Paranormal Activity movies so far. Sure the other four didn't exactly stick well with the majority of audience members, but the most recent one probably scared viewers the most.

Set in the Los Angeles, CA area, Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones seems to have nothing to do with its predecessors. At least, no real connection until the very end. The story line follows recent graduates Hector and Jesse as they experience supernatural occurrences in their suburban home. Who would've guessed that the neighbor living below you is a satanist-middle-aged woman who participates in nightly rituals?

The film relies mostly on pop-out scenes that really just make you throw your popcorn across the theater and punch the person sitting next to you. Not only that, the movie provides its fair share of comedy as the childhood brothers Hector and Jesse deal with the the malevolent demonic spirits tormenting the Latino duo. Needless to say, the movie did deliver each scene climaxing toward the end.

Many share the same opinion, check out Tasha Meares review on the film. The fifth addition to the Paranormal Activity series receives a 6.2/10. Witness the fear for yourself.
