Too Bad I Can't See In The Dark....

Vin Diesel is at it again. The Fast and Furious star continues his role of Riddick in the third installment of trilogy. The story takes place on a barren planet where Riddick has spent the last ten years surviving while being hunted by predators.

Diesel is set to escape the planet and triggers an emergency beacon which draws in bounty hunters in search for Riddick's head.

The movie plays out to be a bloody fight between the hunters and the agile Riddick who outwits them in a variety of ways. But honestly, I expected more action in the movie than trickery.

Yeah Vin Diesel is pretty cool in the movie, but he doesn't actually engage in heated combat until the end of the film when all hell breaks loose. Scorpion looking aliens are no match for Riddick and his swift spear. Regardless, Diesel delivers each scene and continues to be an amazing actor. His ability to hunt in the dark makes him ten times better.

If you're a fan of the Riddick series, I recommend this film. But the newest addition to the trilogy isn't enough for me. I rate it a 6.4/10.
