Scott Speedsman and Liv Tyler star in the 2008 horror film as a couple living in an isolated home when three murderers decide to stop for a visit.
Pretty much spirals out from the beginning. When Kristen McKay (Liv Tyler) is left alone for a bit, one of the murderers nicknamed "Dollface" knocks on the door looking for someone in particular. When Kristen says she has the wrong house, lets just say Dollface doesn't take it too well.
The plot continues on when her boyfriend James returns home and witnesses the horror for himself. While the male murderer plays early 20th century music to accompany his killings.
As if the story line weren't creepy enough, the costume designer added bone chilling masks to each of the killers to add a deeper terror. The actors did a good job portraying their roles as they suffered through each scene.
The Strangers receives a 7.4/10 and has earned a spot on my top 10 list.
