I'd Take This Over Nascar Any Day

The adrenaline kicks in as James Hunt enters his Formula One McLaren as he is about to race for the World Championship. To his side sits Niki Lauda in his F1 Ferrari ready to win the World Championship as well. If things weren't already tense, mother nature decides to downpour on the track making it ten times as dangerous than it already is.

Rush is an incredible film based on the true story of the rivalry between Formula One racers James Hunt and Niki Lauda during the 1970's. You would think that the movie is just about racing. But oh no. There's more to it.

I can honestly tell you that I was biting my nails throughout the movie. It was great. Chris Hemsworth puts on an amazing performance. Personally, I didn't think he had it in him. With his superhero background, who knew he could play a competitive race car driver? Then there's Daniel Bruhl who plays Niki Lauda. I believe he is the best actor in the whole movie. His portrayal of the Austrian racer is magnificent.

Rush is an amazing film that captivates the great sport that is F1 racing. It makes Nascar look like a child's toy. It earns a well deserved 8.5/10. If you have the chance, see it. It's definitely worth it.
